Paper Abstract
A 20 page book review that examines Andrew W. Greeley's The Jesus Myth. The writer discusses three themes in Greeley's text: 1) the message of Jesus and its radical meaning; 2) at the heart of Christianity is acceptance of this message; and 3) clarification and interpretation of New Testament scripture supports the message of Jesus' ministry and the significance of his sacrifice. This discussion takes up roughly 15 pages of the paper, with the remaining pages devoted to a personal response to the work. No additional sources cited.
